A warm welcome to you all, fellow Adventurers !
We have re-launched our EXCELSIOR forums, which have a long story of their own, and
archived the 'old' Content from the Times when we did the development of the EXCELSIOR
Saga on the Aurora Engine of Bioware's Neverwinter Nights...
As you all might know, Tucan Entertainment was founded by the former EXCELSIOR
developers Team, a small group of developers, working on the CRPG-Version of the
EXCELSIOR Saga since October 2002.
Since then the EXCELSIOR developers Team's Mission was to create the complete Fantasy
Saga of EXCELSIOR (one Prelude and 10 epic Episodes), based on Robert R. Richter's (aka
Duncan Mac Leod) EXCELSIOR Novels, which he created from 1986-1989. The World of
Máginçia, in which EXCELSIOR takes place, features its own Continents (with their
Countries), its own Creatures and its own History, a complete World of its own.
Nothing compares to this World...
The Prelude, called 'Mysteries on the Isle of Justice', is more an Intro to the World of
Máginçia than an Episode (Episodes are covering the major Plots of the Saga). The
Adventurer in the Prelude 'learns' some basics of the Tales which lie ahead and a lot about
the background story...
'Mysteries on the Isle of Justice' takes place on the Gold Coast, on the Isle of Justice and in
Ravendish (a small country in the southwest of Andaliah, governed by Baron Cetric
deAragné) and nearly 20 years before the (start of Episode 1) Arrival of the Three Kings -
1352 a.E. (Explanation: 1 a.E. means 'after Emperor' and stands for the Year of the Arrival of
Emperor Claz'Haduk in the City of Sorrows on the Continent Andaliah.)
But, we don't (and shouldn't) want to go into further detail in this 'Welcome Post', so we just
