REG and Excelsior Toolset... Posted: 15 Jan 2006 07:34 PM |
Guttentag,
I am really interested by your toolset and REG as i am building my own module. Unfortunately, my poor english and even more poor deutsh make me unable to know where to download them and how to use them.
thank you very much in advance for giving me the good url and obviously congratulations for the marvelous work you are doing. Wish I was as skilled as you are.

Don't worry, we are speaking English ...
I don't know what kind of Module you are planning to make... - for NWN ?
FYI:
-----
Since October 2002 the EXCELSIOR developers Team's Mission was to create the complete Fantasy Saga of EXCELSIOR (one Prelude and 10 epic Episodes), based on Robert R. Richter's (aka Duncan Mac Leod) EXCELSIOR Novels, which he created from 1986-1989. The World of Máginçia, in which EXCELSIOR takes place, features its own Continents (with their Countries), its own Creatures and its own History, a complete World of its own. Nothing compares to this World ...
Now 15 month have passed since we went 'commercial'... - we have abandoned the freeware Project (which was built on the Neverwinter Nights' Platform) as we discovered that this Game is too good to be for free ... - just kidding! We went commercial/non-public as we realized that this Project is more than a 'hobby project', which eats nearly every free minute of our spare time ...
Of course, there lies a long road ahead! Creating an entire World is really a real men's job, but creating a new Game-Engine from Scratch, with its own Rulset, its own 3D GFX-/SFX-Engine and all other components (i.e. Toolset), is 'nearly impossible' ...
So, if you are asking for our Toolset and for our REG, you 'll just have to wait till its 'commercial' Release... - AND YES: YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DEVELOP COMMERCIAL GAMES WITH OUR TOOLSET !!
But, the **REG for NWN** is, of course, FREEWARE and I will ask our 'REG'-Coder for the latest build for NWN and we will post an URL here (in a few days)...
Hope that helps and THANK YOU for your compliments !
Duncan Mac Leod
